Description
I have a Toro GroundMaster 580-D for sale that I currently use to mow acreage. I just invested over $2500 and over-hauled the engine (new piston and rings, connecting rod bearings,reworked cyl. head replaced one liner and connecting rod all others were within spec.) This unit has a Mitsubishi Turbo 80HP S4F diesel engine and runs fantastic. It has a 16 foot cutting width that consist of 3 decks. The center deck 8' and left wing deck 4' were replaced about 1 1/2 years ago.All hydraulics work, has some minor issues no lights in front,cruise control does not work ,right mower deck has some corner damage.This mower can mow 14.5 acres in 1 hour. If you are serious about mowing acreage in a timely fashion this is the mower. You can bid airports and large acreage for less than a person who just has a brush hog. You can go to Toro.com and get more info. on a 580-D. This unit has 6811 hrs on it(Only 11 hours since overhaul). I have a complete factory service manual, you can learn this mower inside and out.
